Solon's Caldwell claims second straight OHSAA Division I boys diving title

Mitch Caldwell of Solon High School won his second consecutive OHSAA Division I boys diving state championship on Tuesday at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio. Caldwell finished with a total score of 588.65 after leading the semifinal round with a 400.90 score. Trevor Madigan of Perrysburg was the runner-up with 552.45 points. Other Northeast Ohio divers included Gavin Hensley of Aurora, who placed 10th, and Laurence Sison of Shaker Heights, who finished 13th.
