Scarsdale senior and Section 1 girls skimeister Stella Van Arsdale earned a medal, finishing ninth in girls slalom at the state skiing championships. This came a day after she took fifth in giant slalom. Four Section 1 boys also finished in the top 20, with Carmel's Alex Dudjak placing 12th, Yorktown's Jack Mooney 13th, Irvington's Harrison Gredick 16th, and Horace Greeley's Edward Yang 19th.
