Toby Fournier had 26 points and 12 rebounds as No. 9 Duke extended its winning streak to 17 games by beating N.C. State 83-65 on Thursday night. Arianna Roberson scored 15 points off the bench, and Ashlon Jackson and Riley Nelson also reached double figures for the Blue Devils, who combined with Sunday's win over North Carolina to beat two in-state rivals in a five-day span.
Why it matters

The Wolfpack, led by Khamil Pierre's 24 points and Zoe Brooks' 21, trimmed a 20-point deficit to six in the third quarter but could not complete the comeback.
