The Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL have signed forward Michael Herrera to a contract ahead of their three-game series against the Atlanta Gladiators. Herrera, a 23-year-old native of Syracuse, New York, has spent the past two seasons playing in the SPHL and ECHL, most recently with the Macon Mayhem where he recorded 16 points in 24 games.
