Two football players and one assistant coach from Section III in New York have been recognized by the New York State High School Football Coaches Association. Liverpool quarterback John Sindoni was named the Class AA player of the year, West Genesee's Giovanni Capria was selected as the Class AA scholar athlete of the year, and Cazenovia's Mark Evans was tabbed as the assistant of the year.
