The Audubon Community Nature Center is relaunching its Audubon Photography Club starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7. Beginning March 7, the club will meet the first Saturday of each month. New photographers at all levels are welcomed to share photos and stories, learn photography skills, and connect with other nature lovers.
Why it matters
The Audubon Photography Club provides an opportunity for amateur and experienced photographers alike to engage with nature, develop their skills, and build a community around their shared passion. The relaunch of the club after the pandemic disruption aims to reignite this nature-focused photography community.
The details
The Audubon Photography Club will encourage photographers to look at nature through a different lens. A brief presentation will be offered at the end to help photographers develop their nature photography skills. Coffee and tea are provided. Participation is $4 for adults, $3 for Nature Center members and children ages 9-15. To be included in the monthly slideshow, photographers should submit five photos to the club leader one week before the first Saturday of the month.
