The Suffolk County Police Department's 7th Precinct is advising motorists to plan ahead and take alternate routes in the Miller Place-Rocky Point area on March 17th, as the community hosts its annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Several road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect from noon to 4 p.m. to accommodate the parade, which is set to kick off at 1 p.m.

According to the police department's social media post, Route 25A will be closed from Miller Place Road to Harding Street from noon to 4 p.m. Additionally, there will be no parking allowed on Route 25A from Rocky Point Landing to Tyler, as well as on Broadway, north of Main Street to King Road.
