A vibrant celebration of diverse course materials that aim to elevate underrepresented voices and identities in higher education.NYC TodayLyrasis, a leading content and technology services provider for libraries, has announced a new partnership with Lived Places Publishing (LPP), an independent publisher focused on elevating the voices and experiences of marginalized communities. Through this collaboration, Lyrasis will offer discounted pricing and improved accessibility to LPP's collection of concise, classroom-ready course readings that cover topics like Disability Studies, Black Studies, Queer and LGBTQ+ Studies, and Carceral Studies.

The details
Under the new agreement, Lyrasis members will have access to LPP's flagship collection, Intersections: Identity & Place, which includes 150 cross-disciplinary course readings. Each title includes suggested learning objectives and discussion questions to help faculty easily incorporate them into their syllabi. In addition to the Intersections collection, LPP offers annual perpetual collections and subject-specific packages, all of which are available to Lyrasis members at discounted rates.
