Lyrasis, a leading content and technology services provider for libraries, has announced a new partnership with Lived Places Publishing (LPP), an independent publisher focused on elevating the voices and experiences of marginalized communities. Through this collaboration, Lyrasis will offer discounted pricing and improved accessibility to LPP's collection of concise, classroom-ready course readings that cover topics like Disability Studies, Black Studies, Queer and LGBTQ+ Studies, and Carceral Studies.

Why it matters

This partnership aims to address the growing demand from students for more diverse representation in course materials. Each title includes suggested learning objectives and discussion questions to help faculty easily incorporate them into their syllabi. In addition to the Intersections collection, LPP offers annual perpetual collections and subject-specific packages, all of which are available to Lyrasis members at discounted rates.
