The log house style is circa 1790's, while the barn style is circa 1830's. The original framing of these barns features massive oak beams and a queen post roof system. The home features a loft above the kitchen area that creates a family room, a vaulted ceiling with an open-hearth fireplace, and windowed cupolas that provide extra light and ventilation.
