Black Girls Code Expands 2026 Summer Camps to 10 Cities and Virtual Sessions

Black Girls Code, the nonprofit dedicated to preparing young girls and women for tech careers, has announced the launch of its 2026 Summer Camp program. The camps will be held in 10 cities across the U.S. as well as two virtual sessions, reaching over 600 campers ages 10-17. In partnership with Endless Access, a youth-focused game development studio, the camps will teach foundational skills in game design, artificial intelligence, and ethical technology innovation.

Locations include Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Raleigh-Durham, Puerto Rico, and more. The camps will utilize real industry tools to teach students how to design game assets, narratives, and gameplay mechanics from concept to execution.
- The 14 camps will be held from June to August 2026.
- Virtual Camp 1 will take place July 7-9, 2026.
- Virtual Camp 2 will take place August 4-6, 2026.
