GardePro, an innovator in outdoor smart monitoring technology, has launched the GardePro Link 1.0 Long-Range Wireless Trail Camera System, which leverages advanced 802.11ah long-range wireless technology to provide a 3,000ft (1km) wireless transmission range - nearly 20x the range of traditional WiFi trail cameras. The system offers real-time mobile alerts, remote camera management, and free 64GB storage.
Why it matters
For years, farmers, ranchers and property managers have struggled with the limited range of traditional WiFi trail cameras, making it difficult to monitor large areas. The GardePro Link 1.0 addresses this pain point by offering an affordable long-range solution that eliminates the need for costly cellular data plans.
The details
The GardePro Link 1.0 system combines a central hub that connects to a home WiFi router and a long-range R3 Pro trail camera. It can transmit up to 3,000ft in clear line-of-sight conditions and 1,600ft in typical use, far exceeding the range of standard WiFi cameras. The system provides real-time mobile alerts, remote camera adjustments, and the ability to manage up to 16 cameras from a central hub.
- GardePro launched the Link 1.0 system on March 21, 2026.

What they’re saying
“Cellular trail cameras deliver reliable long-range monitoring but come with prohibitively high monthly fees, putting this feature out of reach for many. We're making outdoor monitoring accessible at a far lower cost. Moving forward, we will continue upgrading our products with larger batteries and AI features to better meet users' needs.”
— Andy J., CEO of GardePro
“I stay connected even 2,550ft from my tree stand. These cameras are the best! They've captured deer, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, opossums, and cats—wildlife we'd never seen before.”
— Leo, Property manager
“Great long-distance performance. 4K Clear daytime photos and night shots—ideal for my outdoor setup. The battery life is also outstanding. After 15 days of use, it still has 90% battery left.”
— Benjamin C., Outdoor enthusiast
What’s next
GardePro plans to continue upgrading the Link 1.0 system with larger batteries and AI features to better meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and property managers.
The takeaway
