The details

The indigenous stone used for the carriage house garage, fireplaces, and rear exterior facade was sourced directly from the property, with boulders unearthed during excavation meticulously crafted into veneers. Weathered wood from old barns across the Hudson Valley was tracked down and used for the beams and siding, ensuring a cozy, inviting ambiance. The Shou Sugi Ban technique was applied throughout to add depth and texture, balancing the home's clean minimalism with a layer of warmth.
