New York State Police reported that from Friday, Feb. 6, through Sunday, Feb. 8, troopers issued 8,263 tickets, arrested 177 drivers for driving while intoxicated, and investigated 822 crashes, including one fatal crash, as part of a statewide STOP-DWI initiative coinciding with Super Bowl weekend.
