Manhasset Students Celebrate Lunar New Year

Seventh- and eighth-graders mark the holiday with traditional foods, calligraphy, and Mandarin greetings.

Students at Manhasset Secondary School celebrated Lunar New Year with a weeklong observance that included sampling Chinese and Taiwanese treats, writing down their hopes for the new year, recording Mandarin video messages, and practicing Chinese calligraphy in the school library.
