A new statue of Herb Brooks, the coach of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, was unveiled at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, New York. The statue was funded by Stanley Rumbough and the Uihlein Foundation, and North Country officials, U.S. Olympian Jack O'Callahan, and Brooks' family gathered for the unveiling ceremony.
