On February 21, Kiron Valerio, 38, of Poughkeepsie was arrested and charged with felony criminal contempt, felony aggravated family offense, DWI, and aggravated unlicensed operation. Police say Valerio was found to be in violation of a City of Poughkeepsie Court order of protection. He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. In other arrests, William E. Oakley Jr., 25, of Rochester was charged with felony grand larceny for allegedly stealing $1,500 in gift cards from the Speedway Store where he worked. Austin C. Pullman, 34, of Poughkeepsie was arrested on a warrant for stalking fourth degree, while Richard A. Laviola, 69, of New Paltz and Michael A. Morgan, 43, of Poughkeepsie were both charged with DWI.
