Construction has commenced on a $50 million multifamily apartment project in Great Neck, New York. The 160,112-square-foot development from Villadom Corporation will feature 64 rental residences across four stories on a 2.92-acre site at 267 East Shore Road. The project, designed by Mojo Stumer Associates, will also include a 9,500-square-foot amenities building with a fitness center and resident lounge.
Why it matters
This project represents a significant investment in new multifamily housing for the Great Neck community, which has seen limited new residential development in recent years. The waterfront location and high-end design are expected to attract renters seeking a premium living experience in the desirable North Shore area.
The details
The East Shore Road development will replace a vacant lot previously owned by the Village of Great Neck, which Villadom affiliates purchased for $9 million in February 2026. Mojo Stumer Associates has guided the project through site planning, zoning, and design, and Triton Construction Company is serving as the general contractor. The building's design features porcelain panels, light masonry, dark metal accents, and expansive glazing, along with a landscaped pedestrian promenade and mature tree canopies.
- Construction began in April 2026.
- The project is expected to be completed in April 2028.
