Buffalo Wild Wings is introducing a new protein-packed menu item called the Espresso Proteini, an espresso martini infused with Buffalo Dry Rub and containing 10 grams of protein from Muscle Milk Protein Powder. The limited-time cocktail will be available at participating locations from March 13-15 to coincide with National Espresso Martini Day.

Why it matters

The Espresso Proteini reflects the ongoing trend of food and beverage brands adding more protein to their menus to cater to consumer demand. Other recent examples include Starbucks' protein lattes, Subway's Protein Pockets, and Tropical Smoothie's high-protein drinks.

The details

The Espresso Proteini is made with classic espresso martini ingredients like espresso and vodka, plus Muscle Milk Protein Powder and Buffalo Wild Wings' signature Buffalo Dry Rub, which is also used to rim the glass. The cocktail will be available on its own for $12 or as part of a $20 combo with 6 boneless wings.

  • The Espresso Proteini will be available from Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, 2026.
