NYC is giving away 3,750 free trees this spring for Earth Month. The New York Restoration Project is hosting the giveaway from April 4 to May 16, offering 22 varieties of native trees and plants that thrive in the local climate and support wildlife. Residents can register in advance to claim a free tree and pick it up at distribution events in parks, community gardens, libraries, and other locations across the five boroughs.
