Binghamton University is introducing two new online master's degree programs this fall - a Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) and a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS). The programs, offered through the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science's School of Computing, will provide the same high-quality instruction and curriculum as the on-campus versions, but with the convenience of pre-recorded lectures and online interaction with faculty.

Why it matters

The new online tech master's programs at Binghamton University expand access to a prestigious public university education, allowing students around the world to earn advanced degrees in high-demand computer science and information systems fields without having to relocate. This aligns with the growing trend of online and hybrid learning models that have accelerated during the pandemic.
