Two people from the Adirondacks region have been charged with assault after allegedly stabbing a man and hitting him with a car near a boat launch on the Hudson River in Upstate New York. The wounded man sought help at a nearby home after the attack.

According to state police, Tiffany L. Cary, 39, of Queensbury, and Stanley L. Whitted, 63, of Lake George, were arrested and charged with second-degree assault after the attack on Monday afternoon in Moreau, about 3.5 miles south of Glens Falls. The pair allegedly got into a fight with the victim at the boat launch parking lot on Nolan Road, stabbing him in the chest and face and then hitting him with a car. The wounded man was able to flee and seek help at a nearby home on Bluebird Road.

- Cary and Whitted were later found and arrested about 5 miles away at a home on Cherry Street in Hudson Falls.
