Tieline, a codec manufacturer based in Perth, Australia, announced it will introduce its new ViA Duo codec at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The ViA Duo is described as an ultra-portable broadcast platform designed to support remote broadcasts, commentary, and off-tube production workflows.

The details

The ViA Duo includes two XLR mic/line inputs and headphone outputs, and supports bidirectional stereo or dual-mono IP audio transmission from remote locations via cellular, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet connections. It can also be used as an AoIP node in stadium commentary booths, connecting to remote broadcast trucks or studio REMI production hubs, and supports off-tube commentary through the ability to receive a live video feed.
