A new study by StorageCafe has found that the Sunrise Manor area of Clark County, Nevada ranks 8th in the U.S. for percentage of manufactured homes, with 14.2% of its housing units being manufactured. Sunrise Manor also ranks 10th in the country for total number of manufactured housing units, with 9,952 out of a total 70,198 housing stock as of 2024.

Manufactured homes play a critical role in providing affordable housing options as demand for housing grows in the expanding Las Vegas metro area. Statewide, manufactured homes account for 5.2% of Nevada's total housing inventory and are 71% cheaper on average than traditional single-family homes.

Sunrise Manor, located just south of Nellis Air Force Base, has one of the highest percentages of manufactured homes in the country. The census-designated area ranks 8th nationally for percentage of overall inventory, with 14.2% of its housing units being manufactured. Sunrise Manor also ranks 10th in the country for total number of manufactured housing units. Manufactured homes, also known as prefabricated or mobile homes, are built in a factory and then installed on a plot of land.
