Several local organizations in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada are conducting blanket and coat drives throughout February to collect new or gently used clothing and other items to donate to those in need, including children, young adults, and women. The drives are being organized by Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and United Way of Southern Nevada.

Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick is hosting the sixth annual Clothes for Comfort clothing drive, collecting new or gently used items to be donated to children and young adults served by the Clark County Family Services Department, community centers, and partner nonprofits. United Way of Southern Nevada is also holding its 18th Annual Women United Suit Drive, collecting gently used professional attire to distribute to local nonprofits and women in need. The donated items will positively impact thousands of lives in Southern Nevada.
