A 31-year-old Las Vegas man was killed early Tuesday morning in a three-vehicle crash on the I-215 beltway in Clark County. Alejandro Filomeno-Montoya was standing outside his disabled Porsche Cayenne when he was struck by a speeding Honda CR-V. The driver of the Nissan Sentra that initially caused the crash was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

This crash disabled the Nissan, and the Porsche driver exited his vehicle and walked to the passenger side of the Nissan. A 2023 Honda CR-V traveling at high speed in the number four lane then failed to avoid the disabled Nissan and struck it from behind. The Honda then rotated and struck Filomeno-Montoya, who was standing beside the Nissan. The Nissan driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and additional charges may be filed following the ongoing investigation.
