The No. 8 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs softball team had a mixed performance at the Chattanooga Invitational, dropping two games but finishing with three consecutive wins to end the tournament with a 4-2 record. After opening the tournament with a 3-2 loss to West Florida, the Lady Buffs defeated Montevallo 6-4 but then suffered another 5-3 setback to McKendree. The team then closed out the tournament with three consecutive wins over Palm Beach Atlantic (8-0 in 5 innings), UAH (8-3), and Lee (7-3). Standout performances included Emily Liskai's 3-run triple and Abby Howell's 2-run single in the win over UAH, as well as Bella Holland's solo homer and Jordyn De Los Santos' 2-run double in the victory over Lee.
