Princeton Warming Centers Open Amid Frigid Temperatures

Due to expected frigid temperatures, Princeton has opened several warming centers to provide a safe, warm place for residents. The centers will be available through Sunday, February 1st at various locations including Monument Hall, the Princeton Public Library, and the Center for Modern Aging Princeton.

The warming centers will be open at the following locations and times: Monument Hall – Main Meeting Room (1 Monument Drive) from Wednesday, January 28 to Friday, January 30 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Princeton Public Library (65 Witherspoon Street) from Wednesday, January 28 to Thursday, January 29 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, February 1 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM; and the Center for Modern Aging Princeton (Suzanne Patterson) (45 Stockton Street) from Wednesday, January 28 to Friday, January 30 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- A Cold Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for Princeton through 10 a.m. on Saturday.
- The warming centers will be available for anyone who needs a safe, warm place to go through Sunday, February 1.
