Paramus Public School District is celebrating America's 250th anniversary this year by sending out its elementary school mascots, Midnight, Boomer, Flash and Rocky, on 'Our Great American Adventure.' Parents and guardians are encouraged to check their student's backpack for a 'flattened' mascot friend and a flyer with project details, and to photograph the mascot at a historic landmark in New Jersey or across the United States before submitting the entry through a provided Google Form. The school district will share the mascots' travels on its Facebook page.
