Two Rutgers Health alumnae, Chrystal Chang and Danielle Velez-Leitner, have focused their medical careers on men's urological health, aiming to improve the lives of patients with urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. Chang is an expert in artificial urinary sphincter implant procedures, while Velez-Leitner specializes in penile prosthetic surgeries. The details
Chang performs complex reconstruction for urethral and ureteral strictures, robotic surgery, and has advanced training in prosthetics. She is one of 20 surgeons in the U.S. certified as a center of excellence for artificial urinary sphincter implant procedures. Velez-Leitner performs penile prosthetic surgeries and Peyronie's surgeries to help men with erectile dysfunction or penile curvature.
