Madison Rotary Club to Package 60,000 Meals at End Hunger 3.6 Event

Three local Rotary clubs unite to address food insecurity in the region.

The Madison Rotary, Fanwood–Scotch Plains Rotary Club, and Mental Health Advocates Rotary Club are hosting a large-scale volunteer event on March 7 to package 60,000 oatmeal meals that will be distributed to local food pantries. The event will feature a team challenge and multiple volunteer shifts throughout the day.

The End Hunger 3.6 Community Food Packaging Event will take place at Grace Church in Madison from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 7. Volunteers will work together to package the 60,000 oatmeal meals, which will then be distributed to local food pantries. The event will kick off with a team challenge at 9 a.m., followed by additional volunteer shifts at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. No prior experience is required to volunteer.
