The Hoboken Little League Baseball Opening Day Parade is scheduled for this Saturday, April 12, 2026. NJ Transit buses that run on Washington Street will be diverted from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. to accommodate the parade route, which will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of 10th and Washington streets and head south on Washington Street, turning left onto Fifth Street and ending at Sergeant William Fesken Memorial Field at Stevens Park.

The Hoboken Little League has a rich history, as the city is considered the birthplace of organized baseball, and a player from Hoboken, Maria Pepe, paved the way for girls to play Little League. The annual parade celebrates the start of the baseball and softball seasons and brings the community together.

The details

During the parade, there will be rolling street closures, and buses will be diverted to Bloomfield Street and Hudson Street between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. At the field, a ceremony will be held at approximately 10:30 a.m. to announce the Hoboken RBI Softball and Hoboken Little League teams, alongside their coaches and sponsors, and they will be joined by elected officials and community leaders.
