An elderly man was rescued on Friday morning after falling down a steep cliff along the Palisades near the Hoboken-Jersey City border. Hoboken firefighters responded around 8:35 a.m. and found the man about 25 feet below street level, injured and exposed to freezing temperatures for several hours. Firefighters worked with the New Jersey Transit Police Department to safely bring the man back to street level and transport him to a local hospital for treatment.
