A house fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in the Belford section of Middletown, New Jersey, and firefighters believe the blaze may have started from solar panels on the home's roof. Crews from multiple fire departments responded to the scene and conducted a search of the residence, gaining access to the attic while also initiating ladder operations to knock down the fire on the roof. No injuries were reported, and the fire remains under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Prevention Office.

Fire crews from the Independent Fire Company of Belford and the Belford Engine Fire Company conducted a search of the residence and gained access to the attic, while ladder operations were initiated to knock down fire on the roof. Middletown Fire Company No. 1 and the Port Monmouth Fire Company also responded to provide additional resources.
