Brookstone Builders, Inc., a Manchester-based construction management and general contracting firm, has announced the completion of a renovation project for the State of New Hampshire's Department of Health & Human Services and Department of Environmental Services facility in Concord. The scope of work included replacing 19 air-handling units, converting 4 units from steam to hot water heating, removing and replacing roof-mounted condensing units, and integrating electrical and fire alarm systems.

The details
The renovation project at 29 Hazen Drive in Concord involved the removal and replacement of 19 air-handling units throughout the facility. Four of the units were also converted from steam to hot water heating by providing a new heat exchanger, trim, and pumping system. Four roof-mounted condensing units were removed, and the existing chilled-water system was extended to serve in their place. Electrical work and integration into the existing fire alarm system was also part of the project.
