A 46-year-old Dominican Republic native, Marlon Aramis Suazo-Santos, has been sentenced to an additional 18 months in prison for attempting to bribe an ICE officer in New Hampshire in order to secure his release and avoid deportation. Suazo-Santos pleaded guilty in November 2025 to one count of attempting to bribe a public official.

Later that same day, Suazo-Santos made additional incriminating statements about the bribe attempt while being transported to a local detention facility, which were also recorded.
