On April 6, deputies responded to reports of trespassing and an illegal encampment, arresting two individuals including 51-year-old Chadwick Betts, a convicted felon found in possession of a deadly weapon and marijuana. Later that night, deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle and found one person showing signs of an opioid overdose, as well as suspected fentanyl, marijuana, and a knife. The other occupant, 40-year-old Tiffany Jones, was arrested on outstanding warrants and drug-related charges.
