Robert "Bob" Hetler, a longtime educator and administrator from Valley City, North Dakota, passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2026, at the age of 82. Hetler spent over 30 years working for the North Dakota High School Activities Association after teaching English and directing plays in Northwood, North Dakota for 9 years.
