The Carrington boys and girls wrestling teams had a strong opening day at the 2026 North Dakota state wrestling tournament in Fargo, with 11 of their 14 wrestlers advancing to the second day of competition. Nick Garber (160 lbs) was the lone Cardinal to reach the finals, while Gabe Clifton (152 lbs) and Skye Kramlich (121 lbs) both made the semifinals before falling in their matches.
