In the men's 10,000m, Moiben crushed the previous Texas A&M record of 28:42.00 set in 1985. He finished fourth overall in the event, but was the top collegiate finisher. Other strong Aggie performances included junior Youssef Asslouj and sophomore Ondrej Gajdoš finishing in the top 40 of the men's 1,500m, and sophomore Debora Cherono winning the women's 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 9:56.45.
