The nominees for the Ingles WNC boys Athlete of the Week include Henry Tutera of Christ School, Tristen Sumner of East Henderson, Addix Sutton of Franklin, Zack Wester of Pisgah, Jaaron Frye of Reynolds, Peyton Brooks of Robbinsville, Kaegan Radford of Roberson, and Jackson Stepp of West Henderson. Their performances last week included hitting for the cycle, multiple-RBI games, and dominant pitching outings.

Henry Tutera
A player for Christ School who was 3-for-3 with four RBIs, three walks, three runs and two doubles in a 22-3 win over Asheville Christian Academy.
Tristen Sumner
A player for East Henderson who threw five innings with 10 strikeouts, seven hits and five runs in an 11-8 win over North Henderson, and also hit a double and a triple, driving in three runs.
Addix Sutton
A player for Franklin who went 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs in a 12-2 win over East Henderson.
Zack Wester
A player for Pisgah who was 3-for-3 with three RBIs at the plate, and also pitched three innings of relief, striking out six with one hit and no runs to earn the save in a 7-4 win over West Henderson.
Jaaron Frye
A player for Reynolds who hit for the cycle, going 5-for-5 with two doubles, a triple and a home run, driving in three runs and scoring four in a 13-3 win over Hedgesville (W.Va.).
Peyton Brooks
A player for Robbinsville who had four hits in four at-bats, including a home run and a double, driving in seven runs and scoring five in a 28-1 win over Cherokee. He also pitched a five-inning complete game with three strikeouts and four hits in a 22-2 win over Cherokee, and had an RBI.
Kaegan Radford
A player for Roberson who had multiple-RBI games, including a 2-for-4 performance with two doubles and three RBIs against Dorman, the top-ranked team in South Carolina, and a 3-for-4 game with a solo home run and two RBIs against Airport.
Jackson Stepp
A player for West Henderson who was 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a 4-0 win over Polk County, and 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a 12-8 win over Hendersonville.
