Area wrestlers had a standout performance at the AAU state meet held in Billings over the weekend, with several athletes earning state titles and other top finishes. Cali Gorder (98 lbs), Caydee Gorder (95 lbs), and Liberty Boadle (120 lbs) all won state championships, while other local wrestlers like Renlee Archambault, Michael Beston, Audrey Swallers, Adlee Archambault, and more earned silver and bronze medals.

In addition to the three state champions, several other area wrestlers placed highly at the AAU state meet. Renlee Archambault (55 lbs), Michael Beston (heavyweight), and Audrey Swallers (106 lbs) all earned silver medals, while Adlee Archambault (100 lbs), Oakleigh Norgaard (50 lbs), Sadie Swallers (65 lbs), Jayden Eder (170 lbs), and Knox Spotted Bull (160 lbs) took home bronze medals. Fourth-place finishers included Amelia Spotted Elk (90 lbs), Aniston Kreusel (85 lbs), Rollen Spotted Bull (285 lbs), and Archer Higgins (65 lbs). Riley Swallers placed sixth at 90 lbs.
