Former Tennessee football captain and starter Nick Reveiz has been named the new defensive coordinator at Western Carolina University. Reveiz, a Knoxville native, played for the Volunteers from 2006-2010 and was elected a team captain in his final two seasons. After his playing career, he has gained coaching experience at several programs, including serving as co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Charleston Southern University in 2025, where his defense ranked 34th in FCS in points allowed.
