The Arkansas Razorbacks women's basketball team fell to the No. 14 Ole Miss Rebels 80-57 in a road matchup on Thursday night. The Hogs had an off shooting night, going just 21-62 (34%) from the field and 4-21 (19%) from three-point range. Ole Miss's stifling defense caused 18 Arkansas turnovers, leading to 23 points for the Rebels. The details
Arkansas simply couldn't find its rhythm offensively against the tough Ole Miss defense. The Rebels caused 18 Razorback turnovers and converted those into 23 points. Arkansas head coach Kelsi Musick praised Ole Miss's athleticism and speed, saying "They're really athletic, and they're really fast. They don't over-rotate like a lot of teams do, they're gonna try to man you and wall up." The Hogs were able to keep the game close in the first half by playing a 2-3 zone, but they went cold to start the second half, not scoring a basket until the 5:06 mark of the third quarter.
