Case Engineering partnered with architectural firm V Three Studios to complete the first ground-up Ford dealership in the St. Louis metro area in over 40 years. The $45 million, 71,000 sq ft Clement Ford dealership, located in Wentzville, MO, is one of the first to implement Ford's new Signature Design standards, featuring a modern, customer-focused environment with a dedicated Bronco showroom, expansive service department, and upgraded amenities.
Why it matters
The successful completion of this flagship Ford dealership demonstrates Case Engineering's ability to provide innovative structural solutions to accommodate evolving brand design criteria, even as those requirements changed significantly during the construction process. The project highlights the importance of strong collaboration between the design and construction teams to maintain schedules and budgets while adapting to new standards.
The details
Midway through construction, the facility was redesigned to incorporate Ford's updated brand criteria, which required significant coordination across the design and construction teams. Case's structural team worked closely with the owner, general contractor, and architect to design the necessary support, including a 300-foot-high architectural archway/brand wall that was ultimately removed, and a 32-foot-tall by 230-foot-long curved sign wall that was also removed due to design changes. The team also designed unique solutions for the 132-foot-wide open shop area and the large mezzanine with an elevator shaft.
- The new 71,000 sq ft Clement Ford dealership officially opened in November 2025.
- The project underwent significant design changes midway through construction to incorporate Ford's updated Signature Design standards.
