WWE has announced that NXT Stand & Deliver, the annual NXT Premium Live Event, will not be held in the same city as WrestleMania this year. Instead, Stand & Deliver will take place on Saturday, April 4 at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri. This marks the first time since the inaugural Stand & Deliver event in 2021 that it will not be held in the same location as WrestleMania.
Why it matters
NXT Stand & Deliver has traditionally served as a showcase for WWE's up-and-coming talent, with many NXT stars using the event to springboard to the main roster. By separating Stand & Deliver from WrestleMania week, WWE is giving the NXT brand more autonomy and the ability to shine on its own without being overshadowed by the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.
The details
WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels announced that Stand & Deliver will feature high-stakes championship matches and feature the top talent in the NXT brand, including NXT Champion Joe Hendry, NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne, NXT North American Champion Myles Borne, and NXT Women's North American Champion Izzi Dame. Tickets for the event will go on sale to the general public on March 4, with a presale beginning on March 3.
