Ozarks Healthcare Expands Zizzer Clinic Patient Population

Ozarks Healthcare, in partnership with the West Plains R-7 School District, is broadening the patient population served at the Ozarks Healthcare Zizzer Clinic. The clinic now provides services to non-school-aged children of all West Plains School District faculty and staff, as well as faculty and staff from surrounding rural schools, and spouses and dependents of Ozarks Healthcare employees.

The expansion of the Zizzer Clinic's patient population aims to better support the community by providing convenient, timely care for students, faculty, staff, and their families. This helps minimize time away from work and school, reducing disruptions for parents and guardians.

The details

The Zizzer Clinic was established to offer easy access to care for students during the school day, with short wait times and on-campus access allowing them to be evaluated and treated quickly. The clinic now serves students, staff, and faculty of the West Plains School District, including South Fork Elementary, as well as those from Fairview, Glenwood, Howell Valley, Junction Hill, and Richards school districts, and Southern Missouri Technical Institute. Services include routine health checks, treatment of minor injuries, mental health services, and care for illness.
