LC State's Lustig Named NABC All-West Region

John Lustig of Lewis-Clark State College became the first player in program history to be named to the NABC All-West Region team, the coaching association announced on Thursday. Lustig, the Warriors' all-time leading scorer, led the Cascade Collegiate Conference in field goal percentage and was fifth in rebounding this past season.

This is the first year the NABC has recognized all-region teams for NAIA basketball, making Lustig's selection a significant achievement. As the Warriors' career scoring leader, Lustig has cemented his legacy as one of the top players in LC State history.

Lustig, a senior from Colfax, Washington, averaged 15.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 70 assists, 18 blocks and 14 steals per game this past season. He led the Cascade Collegiate Conference in field goal percentage at 58.5% and finished fifth in rebounding. Lustig finished his career as LC State's all-time leading scorer with 1,463 points, and also ranks third in field goals made (561), fifth in rebounds (614) and sixth in free throws made (272).
