Mitch A. Braun, a 27-year-old Joplin resident, has pleaded guilty to fentanyl trafficking and possessing weapons in furtherance of drug trafficking. Braun is scheduled to be sentenced on April 29 in U.S. District Court in Springfield, Missouri, following a series of controlled fentanyl purchases by law enforcement and the discovery of fentanyl and firearms in his hotel room and vehicle.
