The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will be closing lanes and ramps on Interstate 70 westbound at Lafayette County Route H on Monday, April 13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The closures are part of the ongoing Improve I-70: Blue Springs to Odessa project, which aims to add a third lane of travel in each direction on I-70 in that area.

The details

During the closure, I-70 westbound will be reduced to one lane and traffic will be detoured up and over the ramps at Route H before continuing west. Drivers will not be able to exit at Route H. The Route H bridge will also be closed, but the eastbound I-70 ramps on the south end of the bridge will remain open. All work is weather permitting.
