For the first time since joining the Frontier Conference, Valley City State University swept the Softball Players-of-the-Week awards. Sophomore pitcher Maddy Hazelton earned her second Pitcher-of-the-Week honor after tossing 13 scoreless innings with 15 strikeouts, while sophomore outfielder Kylee Banerd was named Player-of-the-Week after batting .636 with four home runs and eight RBIs.
